Tom Crowther

Hey all! I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from Northeastern University. I consider myself an innovative, fast-paced, and detail-oriented engineer, passionate about building projects that create real value. I am currently seeking a full-time position as a mechanical/project engineer or project manager where I can contribute to a positive work culture.

During college, I was involved in Northeastern Electric Racing, where I learned to design and analyze parts and assemblies in SolidWorks and iterate on my designs quickly. I also improved my designs through rapid prototyping and became comfortable building them.​

I further developed my skills through three co-op experiences at Sonos Inc. as a mechanical design engineer. During my co-ops, I learned to collaborate with electrical engineers, industrial designers, tooling engineers, and management to define system architecture. I also engaged with vendors in DFM cycles to create designs that are well functioning, elegant, and manufacturable.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, working out, cooking, and exploring any environment I find myself in.
