Tom Crowther
Hello! I am a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student at Northeastern University. In college I was heavily involved in Northeastern Electric Racing, which enabled me to develop my design and prototyping skills. I enjoy working on projects that challenge my design skills and result in a wide customer reach/impact.

I have further developed my professional skillset through two Co-Ops at Sonos Inc. as a mechanical design engineer. During my Co-Ops I learned to design product architectures in conjunction with electrical engineers and industrial designers, and underwent DFM cycles with vendors to create designs that well functioning, elegant, and manufacturable. I am currently looking for full time positions as a mechanical/product design engineer where I can contribute to a collaborative work culture.

In my free time, I like to travel, hike and ski, chase new experiences, and always love to explore any environment I find myself in.

I made this website to highlight some of the projects that I am most proud of from both class projects and project teams. I hope to continue building this portfolio with plenty of cool projects! You can learn more about me and my projects by exploring this site. If you want to learn more about my projects or have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out via phone or email, I'd be happy to talk!
